CriteeQ follows strict principles of quality, independence and ethics. No bad reviews, no paid services/reviews, no tricks, no advertising, no personal data collection or reselling.
CriteeQ's 7 principles:

3) no negative reviews, no disparagement,
4) no junk food, no reheated prepared meals,
5) no paid reviews, no services to restaurants,
6) no personal data collection, no big data,
7) no advertising, no intrusiveness,
8) reviews in english + local language when possible
CriteeQ shall never charge a food place for being listed and reviewed, nor for any other service.
Our critics shall not receive money or rewards from a place that they reviewed, nor write about places in which they or their family have any ownership share or management role; occasionally they may write about a place where they provide accessory services (design website or menu or wine list, sell wine), in which case they shall openly declare it.
CriteeQ will never be intrusive by displaying advertising.
CriteeQ shall never, under any circumstances, transfer or sell any information about you to third parties.
CriteeQ is a web app that runs on any modern browser (Chrome and Safari recommended) on any OS or platform. It does not require any app stores, you load it into your browser and, on mobile, save to home screen for future use. As a result it works on any device and operating system capable of running a modern browser. To install and create icon on a mobile phone, load web page in mobile Chrome or Safari, hit iPhone share button or Android menu button, then hit Add to Homescreen. Next time, click on the CQ icon.
CriteeQ runs on most modern browsers, however for best results we strongly recommend using Google Chrome on Windows PCs, Windows Chrome Mobile on Android devices, and Safari on iOS Macs and devices.
CriteeQ is based on an international network of hand-picked food and wine lovers, from professional journalists to skilled amateurs.
If you are independent of the establishment and you sincerely think it should be reviewed by CriteeQ, please drop us a paragraph describing the place and why you like it. We will try to evaluate it and, if satisfactory, review it. Please be aware that we get many requests, many being from interested parties. Write us at suggestions@criteeq.com
We are picky about who can write for CriteeQ. For one, you would have to share our values. It helps if you have a track record; if not, you will simply have to impress us. Most new reviewers join us by being sponsored by existing reviewers. Write us at critics@criteeq.com
At startup critics do not get piad. As we develop we will introduce payments for their reviews. For now they accumulate rights to future profit sharing. We strictly require that they never receive money or any other special advantages from the establishments they review.
